-you're living less, the less playfully you play your game

This site starts with a poem, because its content is unusual and could be considered dry and text-heavy (by some). This poem, if anything serves to accept that. This shouldn’t surprise, it presents, after all, a radically novel way of looking at, calculating and understanding the meaning of information describing our experience of reality. Something being unusual shouldn’t be all that important in itself. What is important however is what doing something that is perhaps unusual can achieve:

Real-world predictive healthcare from already available data.

One way to think of it all is that Newton described reality as the movement of objects, Einstein as the relationship of photons and the Dot theory as the movement of the data record that describes the wave-particle’s wave collapse:

Reality, in this theory is made by the movement and interaction of data of different types, be of of different formats like matter, energy, gravity and time

Calling it a GUT may seem a little grand, when in fact it is only a suggested correction to the mathematical tools used to express Professor Einstein’s work, but the truth is that in doing that in the way described in the theory and at the prescribed meaning, it wraps a function around the theory of general relativity and becomes a new theory that makes more (all) of the (previously) experienced realities quantifiable.

The bridge between the standard model and quantum mechanics is that classical describes the experienced, and quantum the measured portions of their respective observable parts (the bits of it they can see) of the spectra of reality. By quantifying the lensing inherent to the individual experiencing reality and correcting accordingly as a singular equation, you unify the function of quantum mechanics and in essence have formulated a GUT: E=m(0)C^3 (where (0) is symbol for circle dot operator this website does not allow for publication as format as a constant over the speed of light).

Simple, elegant, fundamental, unifying and effective computationally. “Psycho-computationally” too (ie. how a concept of theory is conceived of in the mind and understood).

We humans are, in this framework, “data”-records ourselves (our bodies and world perception/experience) that leave a physical data record of our interactions with it. Like any sheet, tablet or floppy disc, readable by other humans. Made of data that is readable but a kind of data that tells you different aspects of it, depending on how you look at it (literally). The answer depends on the question read before looking at the information with a different lens. Our “physical existence” only describing the coalescence of interference patterns made visible to observers equipped with the tools to observe them. Coalescences that are reported back to ourselves as “reality” as if it were some static object, when they are in fact the product of disturbance of the balanced state.

We humans, as seen across the organic record, seem to be unique in the degree of ability to discern others as being like us. Established meaningful nuances (ability to refine set-theoretical definitions) and attributed inherent meaning. And from this, we have been able to observe not only patterns but disturbances in patterns forming their own intrinsic and revelatory patterns enabling us to in turn calculate, predict and regulate our own behaviours ever-more accurately, helpfully and, even, organically.

Yes organically because knowledge can only emerge in the body and incarnation of the flesh and bones available at the time. At various stages of humanity’s history we were quick to make good use of new available tools and materials (iron, agriculture, gunpowder, etc.). Now the material is data and the tools are data-management. What can be done with it is extremely interesting.

What it invites us to do (to look at reality as the movement of data) is to see objects, numbers, meanings and observations as the local clustering of interference patterns (represented in data - whether frequency, ink, byte or letter) that represents and makes visible something that wasn’t visible prior to the clustering. Like letters have no use until they form words. Their value is inherent to the width and breadth of they can (in)form when they are put together in extremely specific sequences. Like DNA or Lego-bricks.

This website explains the execution and meaning of its application in data-technical terms and healthcare application. It is, in essence, a piece of logic used to describe and explain a new way of doing beneficial things with data and is a method for how to increase the accuracy of our understanding of our relationship with reality.

I could not think of a more efficient or more appropriate way to publish this paper than doing it like this, on the internet. This whole project and overview is very Matrix-y. Because, in a sense, it is, it just doesn’t matter whether you take the blue or the red pill, you’re in the reality you are in and playing the game you are playing. So at least it is fitting to something more rebellious than standard academia. Also, my appeal to the internet is not arrogance; it’s a highly poetic Hobson’s choice of a unique kind:

There is nothing patentable here, but there is a lot to be made by the people who react creatively to this information. There is no reason for anyone to talk about it other than to understand what it does and use it to everyone’s benefit either. This strange juxtaposition of oddities and proposals nevertheless integrated across already existing, fully formed, technical understandings (and for those in the know, the oddity is unsurprising), is the Dot Grand Unification Theory (DGUT).

It offers a real solution to big problems people hadn’t previously considered solving this way. It can also do much good cheaply. 

To my mind, these idiosyncratic factors, combined to the simple immorality of limiting access, made the open-source internet, the only moral and effective choice for publication. But it means I count on you for it to mean something.

Also, Universities have no departments working in the way required for this odd and as of yet undefined, cross-disciplinary infrastructural idea, and companies need prior scientific validation to invest. Yet, it is a thing that is sought for by many. A solution on solutions, and this is it. This challenge may be considered an institutional problem but it isn’t, it’s an inherent property to the way we used to do science and you can solve it by supporting this project. 

Current status of the GUT

As of publication, the concept of a "Grand Unification Theory" hasn’t been recognised as “done” yet, and it needs to be considered as theoretically “done” by others to be given warrant to be tested and tested to be proven. GUTs are the stuff of crazies in physics, and it is hard to get simple and sane audience to discuss new theories. No existing theory, to my mind, makes as clear and simply a case for the computational evidence of it being “the GUT” than the Dot theory does. For it to be “done” the way this theory does simply makes sense, in an astonishingly simple way to those in the know of the complex concepts. Then it needs to first be tested to be proven. This theory can be tested: predicting the lived experience through healthcare. But it cannot be tested until someone is brave enough to invest in it, but no one will invest in it because, whilst logical, it isn’t proven or even agreed upon in theory by Universities yet. Universities don’t like these topics and don’t wish to become the world’s “T.O.E.’s got talent”. This is where and why I need your help:

You see my problem/choices: a) don’t post it, publish as a paper or book, wait ten years to maybe make a difference, or b) post it here to get from the internet what the internet does best: tell you where you’re wrong, tell you how to fix it, and spread the news if it’s good (including cat memes). I hope the arrogance and boldness of the claim will inspire the most virulent to opine.

The idea displayed here is entirely logical. So, I publish it here for others to read and come to terms with, falsify, fundamentally challenge, and progress. What posting as a website also does is enable me to update the material, rephrase and hopefully clarify. It makes it more accessible to rephrase via suggestions on web blog post comments.

Nothing must be believed if the reader is informed enough to understand the meaning of the vocabulary used in it. 

But the reader, at times, has to be very well informed to do so. Sometimes better than me. Please read this not as trigger to falsify the aesthetic but to understand and follow (sometimes no doubt improve the aesthetic of) the meaning of the logic. I made mistakes; of course I did. I am a clinician, not a theoretical physicist. I did my best to verbalise/write it through concepts that I could wrap my head around in specific technical ways, and I am sure it can be refined and might need elaboration and further formulae. There is enough here to get things started and developed. Newton didn’t invent the laser, after all. 

This publication issue is only one of the unsurprisingly odd conundrums of coming up with a TOE—one of many and something rather unsurprising to people familiar with the topic of TOEs. They understand that a “Theory of Everything” (TOE) was never going to be mono-dimensional. 

By publishing it here and enabling a thread to form, people should be able to make sense of it. I have faith in humanity. If ideas and concepts require further clarification, I or others will hopefully be able to contribute, improve, and construct something I believe can significantly and only positively affect the human lived experience. 

I hope this thread will generate interest, which in turn will increase investor confidence and interest. By participating constructively in this thread, you will contribute to developing the world’s first benevolent predictive healthcare mechanism. 

Obviously, there will be errors in its current formulation, grammatical and otherwise, but I ask the reader not to get lost in aesthetics. I, too, can only know so much by name, and I am sure I have misnamed some key elements. It’s not the name that matters; it is the representation of the function. I will seek to update the text with the suggestions and considerations of people contributing to the thread, but I believe the idea is fundamentally correct, hence why I share it here. 

Odd

Writing what I believe is the TOE, as an experience, was an odd object. I would describe it as “something that changed how I understand the world as the writing and realisation processes went through me”. I guess that is rather unsurprising when we look at the effects of the previous component theories, such as those of Newton and Einstein, but everyone since, before, and in between, too. I will discuss this further here. I don’t need to get rich but it would be nice to make a buck for finding the fix to a big problem. Not that I wouldn’t do it again. More than ever.

I realised that the Dot GUT/TOE is the “algorithm of change for good, progress, and change.” Evolution if you will. A logic of logic over timescales that can sometimes be hard to comprehend when viewed from specific perspectives. But that is “all” this TOE teaches us: it’s all about your perspective on the information from which you make conclusions and decisions about reality. Computational perspective and understanding of the meaning of the language represented by the data. And properties of physical reality and its interactions.

It is an odd algorithm because it has an intent written into it. It can only be used for a specific intention, which is novel to my experience of mathematics and was confusing. This is a tremendously complex object to wrap your mind around: it is an algorithm that can only give you the answer that is good for you. Purely by virtue that in asking the question, the equation 

As living members of an animal species, individual human beings with lives, we occasionally live in confusion because, from one undeniable perspective, everything you see, can be seen as “true”. Your perspective and life experience are authentic for you as you see and feel it. The feelings are the subjective dataset that defines the differentials between you and anything else. The way in which we become alive, broken away from our invisibly perfect fractal representation, and become human and conscious through the wave collapse (the brain signal that makes your brain “aware” of the world).  

From another perspective, some things can only be confirmed when they adhere to the definitions that adequately describe them. And the dream, the fantasy, or feeling may now have very little validity in that framework. The objective dataset, the framework where a measurement is greater, is a measurement greater and never lesser. We need the framework to validate our understanding and mobility within the world, to create progress and comfort for our fellow man. 

A TOE has to balance those two truths. That’s why it is a rather Grand yet suitably paradoxically anticlimactic Unification Theory (GUT). The things it unifies have been at loggerheads forever. Their being at loggerheads is fundamental to the reality that emerges from their fundamental polarity. Philosophy and religion, the mystical and emotive worlds, on the one hand, and the world of well-defined rules to describe the workings of the Physical Universe on the other. Both entirely real from different data types. One observed, one interpreted. A GUT unsurprisingly contains, describes and makes sound that very balance. But there is no accepted format for that kind of language. 

Again, unsurprisingly, considering that each evolution of any theory is just the expression of an understanding that there is a new layer of information that became visible from observed correlation with additional/ new sources of observed information. For this debate to be most fruitful, it requires people to efficiently agree and adopt a language that changes our perspective on perception and how we experience the world. 

I am not imposing a language in writing this paper; I am using the language I can access from my knowledge. It no doubt needs refining with better, more accurate and more synoptic existing mathematical and theoretical concepts. I only used the ones I could access in my imperfect knowledge of things and would repeat where I thought repetition would be helpful for some. 

This is why posting this is only the beginning. I will do my best to clarify with videos and discussions if that’s helpful.

I have sent it to academics and friends over the world who love it, but Universities couldn’t touch it or wrap their heads around it running against deadlines.
